Track Verification Methodology
A motocross directory becomes harmful when an old address looks as trustworthy as a current operating schedule. This page explains how we separate active, verify and closed listings.
Source priority
We prefer a facility’s current official website, current official social account, government agency page for public riding areas, and current promoter/event pages. Third-party directories are supporting evidence, especially for historical closure status, but they are not treated as equal to a current official source.
Status labels
Active means current public information supports ongoing riding, training or scheduled event use. Verify before hauling means the property exists or has recent references but dependable current public access could not be confirmed. Closed / historical means evidence supports that the former riding location is no longer operating as listed.
Schedules and fees
We intentionally avoid turning volatile hours and prices into permanent directory facts. Track schedules change for weather, grooming, events and ownership. Where a facility publishes current hours or fees, the track page links to that source instead of encouraging riders to trust a copied number months later.
Corrections
Track owners and riders can send a correction with an official website or verified source. We review the source before changing status, address or operating notes.
